Handmade greeting and note cards just seem to add that nice little personal touch that everyone likes so much. I know this could be really intimidating to a person who’s not so crafty though. That’s why I want to share these cards that I made with you, because they’re super easy and require very little skill! With these supplies and tricks, you’ll be making handmade cars in no time!
Contrary to what you believe, you don’t have to have a craft room full of stuff to make cards. You just need the supplies in the photo above, which of course I’ll share below for you. I show fancy edged scissor sin the photo, but you won’t need them for this project.
- Paper of different colors
- Stamps
- Ink Stamp Pad
- Glue Stick
- Large Paper Punch
- Photo Stickers
- Small Paper Cutter
These cards are very easy to make. Just make them nice and simple, sometimes simple is more! I made a few different cards so that you could get a better idea of the possibilities, all of which are quite easy and require little skill.
- Cut the paper to desired size, then fold it in half to make a card
- Punch tags out of scrap paper using paper punch. If there are large ares around where you punched, simply run those through the paper cutter to get nice edges and you can use that as a frame {see single card image at top of post}
- Stamp images like leaves a pumpkins onto the punches. For larger stamps that won’t fit on the punched paper, just stamp onto paper scraps and run that through the paper cutter to desired size.
- Use a glue stick and/or photo stickers {I used a combo of both} to adhere the punches to the middle of card. Do the same for the scrap frame, then stamp the image inside of the frame.
Voila, you’re done! You now have cute little handmade cards to give to family and friends!
